Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Minors

The Education Policy minor is administered through the Glenn College of Public Affairs. It has three goals, which provide an interdisciplinary set of knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of this minor, students will: 

  1. Have advanced knowledge of public-sector policymaking, administrative processes, and policy analysis in the United States — particularly as they apply to the education system.
  2. Have knowledge of the history, substance, and social and political context of early-childhood, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary education in the U.S.
  3. Can describe current debates in education policy and the discuss the relative merits of policy options using evidence from high-quality research.
