The Arts and Sciences Dean's Student Advisory Board is charged with advising the College of Arts and Sciences Dean on matters pertaining to students such as academics, communication, activities, student life, and college relations.
Board membership consists of 12 undergraduate students and 3 graduate students who are officially pursuing an arts and sciences degree. The Board membership includes: six at-large undergraduate students who serve a two-year term and are selected from applications with two students from each of the three college divisions; three undergraduate students who serve a one-year term and are appointed by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Council with one student from each of the three college divisions; three undergraduate students who serve a one-year term and are appointed by Undergraduate Student Government with one student from each of the three college divisions; one at-large graduate student who holds a position as a GTA, GRA, or GAA, who serves a two-year term, and is selected from applications; and two graduate students from two different college divisions who serve a one-year term and are appointed by the Council of Graduate Students.
The three College of Arts and Sciences divisions are the Natural and Mathematical Sciences (NMS), the Arts and Humanities (A & H) and the Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS).

Each year the college seeks applications to fill open positions. An email is sent to students during January with information regarding open positions, eligibility requirements, the application process, the application deadline and how to submit an application. Part of that application includes submission of the application form below.
