Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Minors

A minor in entomology, which is a administered by the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, provides insight into the roles of insects in human affairs and in the environment. Students who study natural resources, sustainable agriculture, food production and ecology will be interested in entomology because of the role insects play in natural and managed ecosystems. Students studying animal sciences and public health could use entomology to better understand the role insects play in animal and human health. (ENTOMOL-MN)
