Minors

The minor in forestry, fisheries and wildlife, administered by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, provides a practical background in conservation and management of biota, specifically aquatic or terrestrial wildlife or forest plant communities. It is intended to provide students with an understanding of how wild plant and or animal populations and their habitats are conserved and managed to sustain diverse and viable plant and animal populations, ecosystem health and consumptive and non-consumptive utilization by humans.
