Landscape Architectural Studies (ENG)
Landscape Architecture is the study, design and construction of the world around us, the built and altered environment – our collective landscape. Courses within the Minor in Landscape Architectural Studies, which is administered in the College of Engineering, focus on building foundational awareness of and appreciation for the processes, ideas, logics and tools that have fundamentally shaped, and continue to shape, those landscapes. Courses focus on the process of design and the analysis of both vernacular and designed landscapes as a means to open greater awareness of and conversation around our collective environment.
