Minors

The minor in Mycology, administered in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, is designed to provide essential knowledge and training for careers where fungi are major players. For example, fungi are important in microbiology/healthcare, agriculture and plant disease management, ecology and forestry, fermentation/brewing and food science. The Minor in Mycology is also valuable to students interested in multiple areas of biology and chemistry research, including natural products discovery and synthetic biology. The Minor in Mycology is open to all students with introductory training in biology. (MYCOL-MN)
