Joi has joined Career Success as an Assistant Director of Experiential Learning & Opportunities.

In this role, Joi will provide support and outreach for internship initiatives and other experiential learning opportunities for students within Arts and Sciences and its academic departments. 

Joi will also provide internship program implementation support to employers and serve as the ARTSSCI 1191 and 3191.01/02 course instructor. 

Joi holds dual bachelor's degrees in Urban Studies and Geography & Planning with concentrations in Community Development and Urban Design from the University of Toledo and a Masters of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University.

Her experiences in education range from housing, student conduct, curriculum design, teaching, career-technical education, student leadership, and DEI assessment and implementation. 

She is passionate about providing an inclusive and collaborative environment for students to grow into their best selves.
