From high-temperature plasmas to studies at near absolute zero, the program is an exciting investigation into extreme science. The program also has major facilities for mass spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and electron paramagnetic resonance. These centers of instrumentation make it easy for the program to bring an entire array of techniques to bear on specific research problems.
