Janet M. Box-Steffensmeier, Distinguished University Professor and Vernal Riffe Professor of Political Science at The Ohio State University, has been named the 2026 recipient of Ohio State’s Pierre Agostini Prize.

The Pierre Agostini Prize is the university’s most prestigious award for scholarly and artistic achievement and is presented annually to one faculty member in recognition of their groundbreaking and influential work.
