After more than six decades of conflict, 137,000 people have been reported missing in Colombia. A partnership between The Ohio State University’s new Mershon Search Lab and Colombia’s Unidad de Búsqueda de Personas dadas por Desaparecidas (UBPD) aims to identify the missing and bring closure to their families.

While attending an international convening about the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, which brought an end to the 30 years of conflict in Northern Ireland known as the Troubles, lab co-director Teri Murphy met with a group from the UBPD.
