Society of Actuaries designates Ohio State program as Center of Actuarial Excellence

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) has designated the Actuarial Science program at The Ohio State University as an SOA Center of Actuarial Excellence (CAE). The SOA launched the CAE designation in 2009 to recognize universities around the world that offer strong actuarial programs that help strengthen the position of the academic branch of the actuarial profession by enhancing research and support the profession’s future by providing students with the foundational skills and knowledge they need to achieve designations.
