Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Pat Flowers Receives National Award

Pat Flowers, professor of music education, has been recognized by the National Association for Music Education with the Senior Researcher Award - a lifetime achievement award for distinguished research and scholarship, presented biennially at the National Conference, this year in St. Louis. The award is the highest honor bestowed by NAfME for research and a recognition of significant contributions to the field of music education. Following the award presentation recipients are asked to make a formal speech, which are regarded as highly influential. Professor Flowers' remarks will be published in the Journal of Research in Music Education (JRME).
