Professor Jon Woods, School of Music, is the 2011 – 2012 recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award. This award recognizes a faculty member for excellence in teaching and is particularly notable because the selection process is completely administered by students - from nomination through selection. Students review faculty vitae and SEI scores, meet with selected nominees and visit classrooms. Also selected to be honored is Outstanding Teaching Award finalist Professor Janet Parrott, Department of Theatre.
